Shopping cart by ProDesign-Web.com includes options for:

- real-time sales tax calculation based on a zip code and the
final amount of the purchase,
- coupons and discounts (allows you to add a coupon code or discount
code/password to make promotions and/or sales),
- product thumbnails in shopping cart (allows you to see visually which
items are added to your shopping cart),
Shipping and tax calculations:
Shipping rates calculations:
- Real-time based on:
- Shipping carrier (e.g. USPS),
- Zip code/country,
- Weight,
- Package size/dimensions,
- Method of shipping (e.g. priority mail),
- Handling fee added to a shipping fee (i.e. shipping and handling) or
added as a separate calculation (e.g. handling fee $2.99) added to
the shipping cost,
- Table Rate Shipping:
In Table Rate shipping, a
fixed lookup table of shipment prices is used to determine the shipping
cost. Either the total weight or the total price of the order can be used in the lookup table.
- Per-Item Shipping:
In Per-Item shipping the price entered in the Shipping Cost field is multiplied by the number of products ordered, then added to the Handling Fee (if any) to calculate the final shipping cost.
- Flat Rate:
In Flat Rate shipping, a single price is
used on all orders, regardless of how many items are bought or how much
the purchase weighs or its size etc.
Tax calculation based on tax zones:
Tax Zones are required to calculate the appropriate tax rate value
based on where the purchase is made from.
